Big Lottery Fund offers £4.5m funding to support local social action
Under the Place Based Social Action programme, organisations can apply for an initial £5,000, which could become as much as £500,000.

Benefits of joining the FSI
The FSI (Foundation for Social Improvement) provides high quality and low cost or free training and advice to small charities. If your organisation is a charity, CIC or community organisation with a turnover under £1.5m then membership is FREE.

£150 training vouchers from Adviza

New fund for core costs
Heart of Bucks has announced the launch of Core Strength – Local Communities for 2017/18 in partnership with UK Community Foundations. This is a 12-month programme to cover the day-to-day costs of small, locally led groups.

An invitation to safeguarding leads
Calling all safeguarding leads from sports clubs, youth centres, uniformed groups, choirs, young peoples projects, committees, after school clubs, organisations and associations.

Up to £30k development funding available
The Fore is the only open-access funder in the UK offering development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities and social enterprises. They make grants of up to £30,000 over one to three years and provide access to business expertise to help recipients achieve their goals.

The Fundraising Preference Service (FPS) was launched on 6 July and aims to help individuals manage and control the level of communication they receive from charities, to help rebuild public trust in the sector.

Call to Action - It’s the little things that count
Community Impact Bucks and Buckinghamshire County Council (Prevention Matters) will be holding an information evening on 13 July 2017 between 6:30 pm - 8pm at Prestwood village hall, to explore whether the Parish of Great Missenden would benefit and could facilitate a Good Neighbours Scheme. CIB works with Healthwatch Bucks on a study to look at Hospital Volunteer Parking Permits for Buckinghamshire (Home to Health)
Following on from a 2015 report to find out more about Buckinghamshire resident’s experiences of travel and transport to medical appointments, Healthwatch Bucks asked CIB to undertake a research project on the subject.

Launch of Wycombe Lotto
Wycombe Lotto has been launched by Wycombe District Council. Set up to support community projects in the local area, the Wycombe Lotto operates on the principle of raising money within the community for the community.
