Closure of The Priory Centre- High Wycombe

The lease on the Priory Centre held by Community Impact Bucks, expires on 31st March 2012. In order to give sufficient time to meet our obligations under the terms of our lease, the Priory Centre will be closing on Friday 24th February 2012


The services that Community Impact Bucks delivers in the Wycombe area and elsewhere are no longer dependent on the use of The Priory Centre.  In addition it has been our experience over the past 18 months that the costs of staffing and maintaining the Priory Centre have not been covered by rental income.  This has resulted in a considerable financial loss to our organisation. Even if an extension to the current lease could be obtained, this unsustainable position cannot be rectified without a major increase to the rental charges.  The effect  on the users of The Priory Centre would mean that the rental charges were in excess of those for more suitable premises elsewhere.
