Community Development

Community Impact Bucks' Community Development Team lead on the implementation of a community development contractin partnership with the locality services team at Bucks County Council.


This involves working with the area co-ordinators on the development of the area plans and the area planning process; ensuring the priorities within Community Led Plans are fed up to the local area plans. We also support county council services in the development of their community engagement activities; initially this is through the development of a community led approach around supporting older people. Over the coming months we will embark on a piece of work to increase the engagement of voluntary and community groups, and individuals, with local area forums and in the delivery of some of the priorities within the local area plans.
