Nick Phillips - Chief Executive 

Nick Phillips was appointed as the Group Chief Executive of Community Impact Bucks in February 2015.

Nick comes with a strong back ground of commercial and charity management that includes running his own business, leading National Trust teams and most recently working with Ngage Solutions, overseeing the successful LEADER rural business grant and support programmes in Bucks.

 

Diane Rutter - Services Director

Diane oversees (and delivers!) our key services to support voluntary groups and volunteers across Buckinghamshire. She and her team provide information, advice, training, forums, conferences, and provide a link with local commissioners and local employers. They promote volunteering and support all aspects of developing and involving volunteers.

Diane is often commissioned by voluntary groups to provide help such as: facilitating away days for trustees and senior managers, advising on visioning and strategic direction, developing and delivering bespoke training in areas such as, governance, volunteering, wellbeing in the workplace and as a speaker and presenter at groups and conferences. Formerly the Chief Officer of Voluntary Action Chiltern and South Bucks, Diane led her charity into ever increasing collaboration with other infrastructure agencies over an 8 year period, culminating in merger in April 2010.

In past chapters of her life, with the medical humanitarian agency Medecins Sans Frontieres, Diane ran emergency healthcare programmes in floods, earthquakes and epidemics in Bangladesh and China - all delivered by volunteers and local communities. As a volunteer herself in her spare time Diane does diverse things such as being Carers Champion at her doctors surgery, a Dementia Friends Champion, a master composter, and retreat facilitator.

Paul Hedley - Head of Resources

Paul is Head of Resources for CIB, with responsibility for financial and people management within the organisation, and is a member of the Senior Management Team.  His background in the charitable sector was as Chief Executive of Three Choirs Festival for five years, and he is also a practising professional musician.  His business experience is extensive, running and operating an Executive Education company, and holding the position of Associate Fellow at Oxford’s Said Business School.
